Good Problems to Have

Not enough vacations… can’t make a decision on where to eat… too much work to do… having only cheese pizza since there was no pepperoni… All sucks, but they are not really issues (“first would problems” some say).

In reality they are Good Problems to Have.

If you are thinking about not having enough vacations, that means that you working conditions are such that your well been is considered and at least you have some kind of paid leave to do something other than work.

If you can make a decision on where to eat, that means that you have so many options that you have tried in many occasions. That is completely different to not having anything to eat at all (sounds dramatic, but is so true, and is not easy for us to relate, but there are many people that have food insecurity and don’t know where their next meal will come from).

If you have too much work to do, you are not one of those how were affected by the pandemic. A situation that not only striped many from their yeas long source of income, but also their source of health care (yes, during a pandemic).

If you are eating cheese pizza, yes that’s a tragedy… no pepperoni, no life to the fullest… :-)

I decided to write on this since today I wasn’t feeling that good about certain trivial things that had to do on daily basis. While talking about this with my wife, I immediately came back to reality when she said “that’s a good problem to have”.

Pondering about it, she was right, the thing that I decided to focus today was so trivial. And only by labeling as a “good problem to have” just realized that the problem I was focussing is what keeps all the blessings together and in place.
